Daviess County extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kennedy Lane. The Daviess County Panthers took down the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons 70-53 on Tuesday thanks to Lane, who went 10-for-16 on her way to 26 points. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Hayden, who posted nine points. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played.

Daviess County's record now sits at 13-11. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daviess County will challenge Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Daviess County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Greenwood likes a good challenge. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, they will face off against Webster County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
