Baseball Recap: Lee Williams Comes Up Short

Lee Williams lost against Pahrump Valley back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lee Williams Volunteers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pahrump Valley Trojans. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee Williams got a good showing from Cain Massey, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, Massey posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Lee Williams saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gaven Kolar, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Lincoln Lewandowski also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Lee Williams now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pahrump Valley, their record is now 9-2-1.

Looking ahead, Lee Williams will head out to challenge Lake Havasu at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pahrump Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-1 victory against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus on the 10th.
