Soccer Game Preview: Tug Valley vs. Scott

The Tug Valley Panthers will head out to face off against the Scott Skyhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Scott took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tug Valley, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Tug Valley faced off against Shelby Valley on Saturday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Wildcats. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Tug Valley's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Scott lost 4-1 to Riverside on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Scott were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Remi Javins, who's now up to two this season.

The victory snapped Tug Valley's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 4-5-1 record. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2.

Tug Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Scott in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
