Softball Recap: Stanton Buffaloes vs. Hermleigh Cardinals        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Stanton, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Friday. They skirted past the Hermleigh Cardinals  11-10. This was payback for Stanton, who suffered  an  8-3  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Stanton got a great performance from  LILIANA RODRIQUEZ as she  struck out eight batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits. RODRIQUEZ has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  AUBREY VILLA was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with two  triples, three  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  MARIAH WILLIAMS, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Stanton has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record  this season. As for Hermleigh,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-8.
 Stanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hermleigh also has no future games currently scheduled.
