Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Has No Trouble Against Amplus Academy

Spring Valley not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 21, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Amplus Academy Archers 3-0. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Archers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Spring Valley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Amplus Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-11.

Londyn Phillips paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Phillips got some help from Mackenzie Means and her 17 assists. Phillips was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the loss, Amplus Academy still got an impressive performance from Addyson Rambow, who had seven digs and one assist.

Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Amplus Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.
