Volleyball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Custer County Cowboys, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Sidney took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 27-25.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Custer County, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Sidney has already played their next match (against Glasgow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Custer County, they will head out on the road to challenge Fergus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
