Dumas had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Ysleta Indians on the board on Saturday, marking the Demons' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Demons have won 22 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Dumas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Ysleta, they moved to 16-14-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dumas beat the Indians by a score of 21-2 later that day.
