Orange Glen barely beat Guajome Park Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Orange Glen blew past Guajome Park Academy 11-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won four matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Nicki Cardenas made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Manny LaChappa was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Jesse Martinez was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Orange Glen has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record  this season. Guajome Park Academy's record is now 2-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange Glen will face off against Viewpoint at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games Viewpoint has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Guajome Park Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Empire at 2:30  p.m.  on April 8.
