Baseball Recap: Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks vs. Redwood Giants
Tamalpais lost to Redwood back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Red Tailed Hawks walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Giants. The game was the first time the Red Tailed Hawks have beaten the Giants on their field since April 29, 2022.
Hank Ballard looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Will Gensler was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
