Baseball Game Preview: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. Port Clinton Redskins

The Western Reserve Roughriders are taking a road trip to face off against the Port Clinton Redskins at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Reserve will be strutting in after a win while Port Clinton will be coming in after a defeat.

Western Reserve took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Mansfield Christian 10-0. Considering the Roughriders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Port Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Gibsonburg.

Port Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Western Reserve, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.
