Soccer Recap: Emery Takes a Loss

Emery fought the good fight in their overtime match against Millard on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Emery's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Emery's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Millard, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emery will welcome Parowan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Emery are facing Parowan at the right time seeing as Parowan are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Millard, they will host Enterprise at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
