Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only American Leadership Academy walked away with it. They snuck past the North Sevier Wolves with a 52-48 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kade Johnson, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 15 points and five assists. What's more, Johnson also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brody Bulloch, who posted 12 points.
American Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for North Sevier, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
Coming up, American Leadership Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kanab at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
