Basketball Recap: Southeast Alamance Skates Past Midway with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, Southeast Alamance rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 80-49 win over the Midway Raiders. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Midway lost, don't look at Kemari McNeil. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Anthony Graham was another key player, putting up seven points.

Southeast Alamance has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. With the loss, Midway broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-6.

Southeast Alamance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-48 defeat against Southwest Onslow on the 28th. Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
