William Quintana-Rodriguez Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Friday, Chisholm Trail got the W thanks in part to William Quintana-Rodriguez playing the best football he has all season. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.7) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will challenge South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Quintana-Rodriguez will face off against Douglas Cook, the Scorpions' star running back. Thomas Came Up Big in Paschal's 50-15 Victory

Paschal picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jashaun Thomas. Thomas turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes, while also rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Thomas has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 193.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 30.4 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.4 rushing yards.

A Season-Best Effort from Maki Gee Leads Paschal over Polytechnic

Paschal was led to victory by Maki Gee, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
