Pepin/Alma not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Pepin/Alma won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Pepin/Alma's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
