Basketball Recap: Mountain Lake/Comfrey Comes Up Short

Mountain Lake/Comfrey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-38 loss at the hands of the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights. The matchup marked Mountain Lake/Comfrey's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mountain Lake/Comfrey and Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will both be playing Red Rock Central the next time they take the court. Mountain Lake/Comfrey will host Red Rock Central on Monday, while Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on the 17th.
