Softball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.9 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mundelein Mustangs, falling 10-1. The Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Swick, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Mundelein, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10.

As of now, neither Highland Park nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
