Volleyball Recap: Northwest Has No Trouble Against Bell

Northwest won the last time they faced Bell and things went their way on Friday too. The Texans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Raiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Texans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northwest took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11, 25-13.

Levariya Pinder paced Northwest's offense, picking up ten kills. Pinder got some help from Payton Zondor and her 27 assists. Kiley Brooks controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Bell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northwest and Bell will both be playing Keller Central the next time they take the court. The Texans will host the Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Raiders will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
