It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Puyallup had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 53-46 victory over the West Valley Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Puyallup's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for West Valley, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Puyallup and Gonzaga Prep will face off at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Gonzaga Prep will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Puyallup surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Glacier Peak at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
