Plymouth entered their tilt with Riverview on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They had just enough and edged out the Pirates 4-2. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Plymouth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-16. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Riverview, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-25.

Plymouth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-5 win against Milford on the 17th. As for Riverview, they will challenge Grosse Ile at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
