Baseball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pleasant Hill Roosters, falling 9-2. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roosters apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pleasant Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Odessa has already played their next matchup, an 8-5 loss against Lawson on the 8th. As for Pleasant Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-3 defeat against St. Pius X on the 8th.
