Football Game Preview: Palatka Panthers vs. Crescent City Raiders + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Palatka Panthers and the Crescent City Raiders will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Palatka's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Bradford last Friday. They took a blow against the Tornadoes, falling 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 41st).

Meanwhile, Crescent City played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 71-21 loss at the hands of Orlando Christian Prep. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-7.

Although Crescent City took the loss, they still got scores from Jariah Fuller, Andre Martin, and Preston Sanders.

Palatka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Crescent City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Palatka against Crescent City in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
