Centennial is 9-1 against East since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Stars are taking a road trip to face off against the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

East will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Centennial extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Stars were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Columbus International.

Daniel Barnes was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Hammond, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Centennial was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, East got the win against South on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for East, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Centennial took their win against East in their previous meeting on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
