Westside came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Magazine, but Daniel Green wouldn't allow it. The Rattlers snuck past the Rebels with a 61-56 win on Monday for which the team can thank Green, who posted 37 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 15 points.

Magazine's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Westside, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magazine won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Paul at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westside, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Danville at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
