Baseball Recap: Wyatt Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Wyatt and South Hills, and South Hills kept the tradition alive. The Chaparrals came up short against the Scorpions on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Chaparrals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scorpions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Wyatt's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for South Hills, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-14-2 record.

While Wyatt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
