D1 District 10 (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week

Logan Levick Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hemingford

Starting off the list is Bridgeport's Logan Levick, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Levick rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.

The win (which was Bridgeport's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Levick and Bridgeport will challenge Sutherland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sutherland found a leader in Oliver Nutter as the squad took down Kimball on Friday. Nutter turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Sutherland's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. Nutter and Sutherland are taking a road trip to take on Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Weibert Made His Presence Known in Bridgeport's 36-12 Victory

Another Bridgeport player making an appearance on this list is Nikolas Weibert. He threw for 140 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Weibert might have his next game, a road matchup with Sutherland, circled on his calendar. When Weibert last faced the Sailors back in September of 2023, he threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
