With a playoff win on the line, St. Thomas Aquinas rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Coral Park Rams with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won 13 matches in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Thomas Aquinas was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-8, 25-10.

Adriana Medrano was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four digs and four aces.

Medrano wasn't the only good servers: St. Thomas Aquinas was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.

St. Thomas Aquinas' record now sits at 24-4. As for Coral Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
