Basketball Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Westmont

Parkview Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Westmont Sentinels, posting a 49-22 victory.

Parkview Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rhen Staudacher, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Staudacher is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Bean, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Several Sentinels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stella Salvato-Francese, who had six points. Kaitlynn Hoover was another key player, putting up five points.

Parkview Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Westmont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Parkview Christian Academy will square off against Faith Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmont, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bremen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
