Preview: Beloit Memorial vs. Middleton
The Beloit Memorial Purple Knights need to shore up a defense that is allowing 75.13 points per contest before their contest on Thursday. They will square off against the Middleton Cardinals on the road. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
The Purple Knights ended up a good deal behind Hononegah when they played on Monday, losing 83-69.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-31, which was the final score in Middleton's tilt against Madison East on Tuesday. Middleton was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.
In the teams' previous meeting last month, Beloit and Middleton were neck-and-neck, but Beloit came up empty-handed after a 58-56 loss. Can Beloit avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
