Soccer Recap: Canterbury Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Canterbury was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and the Aubrey Rogers Patriots finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The Cougars had to tread lightly for part of the match as three Canterbury players were handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Their goal came courtesy of Norbert Hegedus, who's now up to four this season.

Canterbury's draw makes their record 11-2-2 this season. As for Aubrey Rogers, they moved theirs to 2-7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canterbury will welcome Ida Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Canterbury is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will challenge Cape Coral at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aubrey Rogers also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 2.5 goals per game.
