Football Game Preview: Mercy Culture Prep Royals vs. DasCHE Spartans

The Mercy Culture Prep Royals will face off against the DasCHE Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mercy Culture Prep has given up an average of 27.6 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mercy Culture Prep is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-12 loss at the hands of First Baptist. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Royals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Mercy Culture Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Walker Hughes and Damarion Anderson.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for DasCHE, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against UME Preparatory Academy by a score of 34-26 two weeks ago.

DasCHE found their leader in sophomore Roy Hall, who threw for 188 yards and four TDs.

The win got DasCHE back to even at 2-2. As for Mercy Culture Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Mercy Culture Prep came up short against DasCHE in their previous matchup back in September of 2019, falling 34-25. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
