Soccer Recap: Lawrence County Comes Up Short

Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Priceville Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Lawrence County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Priceville are ranked 67th).

Lawrence County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Priceville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will square off against East Lawrence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Priceville, they will face off against Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Decatur's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
