Soccer Recap: Douglas/Rapid City Christian Takes a Loss

Douglas/Rapid City Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Stevens Raiders, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Douglas/Rapid City Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Stevens are ranked second).

Douglas/Rapid City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Stevens, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Looking ahead, Douglas/Rapid City Christian will square off against St. Thomas More at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stevens, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Douglas on the 26th.
