Softball Game Preview: Holy Savior Menard Eagles vs. Tioga Indians

Holy Savior Menard is 0-3 against Tioga since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Holy Savior Menard Eagles will take on the Tioga Indians at 5:00 p.m. Holy Savior Menard has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Holy Savior Menard lost 16-6 to Pineville on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tioga posted their closest win since April 2, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Destrehan 8-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Tioga's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Holy Savior Menard, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Holy Savior Menard might still be hurting after the 8-2 loss they got from Tioga in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Holy Savior Menard avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
