Basketball Game Preview: St. Christopher Academy Sentinels vs. Beddingfield Bruins

The St. Christopher Academy Sentinels will venture away from home to square off against the Beddingfield Bruins at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Christopher Academy has given up an average of 62.6 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

St. Christopher Academy came up short against St. David's last Tuesday, falling 71-46. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Warriors are ranked 99th).

Meanwhile, Beddingfield played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Bunn and fell 73-38. The Bruins were down 51-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

St. Christopher Academy dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Beddingfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
