Basketball Recap: Greenville Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Greenville Classical Academy lost against Temple Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greenville Classical Academy Lions took a hard 74-60 fall against the Temple Christian Academy Warriors. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Temple Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Hall, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Hall has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Moses, who went 10 of 19 en route to 22 points and five steals.

Greenville Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Temple Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville Classical Academy will host Bob Jones Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will square off against Westgate Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Temple Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
