Highland entered their tilt with Grants on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 58-45 win over the Grants Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rebecca Neal, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Neal is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Breanna Payton was another key player, going 6 for 9 to rack up 17 points.

Grants' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Promise Garcia, who posted seven points.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Grants, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
