Basketball Recap: Northwest Classical Academy Falls to Trion in First Game of Season

Northwest Classical Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 61-42 bruising from the Trion Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Northwest Classical Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Starstrom, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Sabbarese, who put up six points and eight rebounds.

Northwest Classical Academy has already played their next game, a 65-37 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 13th. As for Trion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-45 win against Southeast Whitfield County on the 15th.
