Chaparral posted their closest victory since March 21st on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the ThunderRidge Grizzlies, sneaking past 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for ThunderRidge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will challenge rival Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, ThunderRidge is set to take on their familiar foe Legend at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
