Basketball Game Preview: Mid-Peninsula Dragons vs. Kehillah Rams

The Mid-Peninsula Dragons will square off against the Kehillah Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Mid-Peninsula got the win against KIPP Esperanza by a conclusive 63-40. The Dragons pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Kehillah came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 59-47 win over the Eagles.

Kehillah's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Mid-Peninsula, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Things could have been worse for Mid-Peninsula, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-37 loss to Kehillah in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can Mid-Peninsula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
