Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial lost against Hudson Catholic back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Memorial Tigers were beaten by the Hudson Catholic Hawks 78-28. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Hawks are ranked 41st).

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hudson Catholic, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Memorial has already played their next contest (against Dickinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hudson Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-21 victory against Kearny on the 1st.
