Softball Recap: McHenry Takes a Loss

McHenry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Warren Township Blue Devils, falling 14-4. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kendal Rogers and Danica McCarthy stepped up to the plate in a big way. Rogers scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while McCarthy scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

McHenry's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Warren Township, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

McHenry and Warren Township will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors will challenge rival Huntley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Warren Township is set to face off against their familiar foe Waukegan at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
