Basketball Recap: Shepherd Skates Past Roundup with Ease

Shepherd won against Red Lodge on Friday with 74 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Shepherd Mustangs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 74-17 win over the Roundup Panthers. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Shepherd pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points over those games. As for Roundup, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

As of now, neither Shepherd nor Roundup have any future games scheduled.
