Basketball Game Preview: North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights vs. Ravenscroft Ravens

North Raleigh Christian Academy is 0-10 against Ravenscroft since February of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Ravenscroft Ravens at 7:45 p.m. North Raleigh Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, North Raleigh Christian Academy turned things around against Crossroads Christian on Friday. They walked away with a 51-42 win over the Colts.

Brennen Jefferson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cooper Herakovich, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Ravenscroft had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 75-66.

Ravenscroft is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

North Raleigh Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Ravenscroft when the teams last played on Tuesday, losing 57-38. Can North Raleigh Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
