Soccer Game Preview: Raymond vs. Forest Hill

The Raymond Rangers will challenge the Forest Hill Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Raymond and three for Forest Hill.

Raymond fell victim to Mendenhall and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Raymond haven't been shut out since back in November of 2025.

Meanwhile, Forest Hill lost 6-1 to McComb last Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Forest Hill have lost by exactly five goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Sandra Scott, who's now up to four this season.

Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Raymond, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Raymond was able to grind out a solid victory over Forest Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, winning 4-2. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
