Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Russellville). They enjoyed a cozy 94-77 win over the Hamilton Aggies on Monday. The Golden Tigers haven't had any issues with the Aggies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for EJ King, who posted 40 points. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Russellville's points. Cameron Phinizee was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Kel Battle, who went 6 of 15 en route to 19 points. Battle has been hot, having posted 17 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Tyra, who earned 11 points.

Russellville's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-17.

Russellville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-60 defeat against Austin on the 28th. As for Hamilton, they have also already played their next contest, a 97-51 victory against Lamar County on the 28th.
