Softball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Biggs Wolverines, falling 23-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 29-1 on Tuesday.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Biggs, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2-1.

Looking ahead, Williams will venture away from home to take on Lindhurst at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will need to watch out since the Blazers have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven games. As for Biggs, they will be playing at home against Loyalton at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Wolverines' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Grizzlies have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
