Volleyball Recap: Treasure Valley Classical Academy Takes a Loss

If Treasure Valley Classical Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gem State Adventist Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Treasure Valley Classical Academy lost 3-0 to the Compass Charter Aviators on Friday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-13.

Daniella Caracciolo paced Treasure Valley Classical Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Caracciolo got some help from Ella Burke and her five assists. Burke also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Araceli Sanchez, each putting up two.

Among those leading the charge was Peyton Phillips, who had nine digs and two aces.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Compass Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harper at 7:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Compass Charter, they will take on Marsing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
