Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (73), Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Surrattsville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 71-64 to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Surrattsville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-6.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South was able to grind out a solid win over Surrattsville in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 64-52.
