Basketball Recap: Kingsway Takes a Loss

Kingsway entered their matchup against Eastside on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Kingsway Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Eastside Tigers. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.

Eastside found their leader in sophomore Abdourahmane Bah, who went 6 of 10 en route to 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bah has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Satchell, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Kingsway's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Eastside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Kingsway will square off against Gloucester County Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
